About us
Dr. Cart de Brux was born and raised in Charleston, SC. After finishing Davidson College, he returned home to the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his General Surgery training at Orlando Regional Medical Center and is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He also completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New Orleans, followed by a Craniofacial Surgery fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. During his fellowship, Dr. de Brux concentrated on post-traumatic facial reconstruction in adults and children, post-cancer reconstruction, congenital differences (including cleft lip and palate as well as craniosynostosis) and state-of-the-art facial cosmetic surgery. Special interests include craniofacial surgery, pediatric plastic surgery, microsurgery, breast reconstruction, nasal reconstruction and rhinoplasty, and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. de Brux and his wife, also a native of South Carolina, reside in Greenville with their children.
