About us
Juanita is a Licensed Master Social Worker who graduated from the University of Maryland—Baltimore and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bowie State University. She believes in a person-centered approach, recognizing we are humans first, and celebrates the resiliency of the human spirit. Juanita is passionate about helping teens and young adults build the skills needed for success in life. She has experience supporting youth and adults with ADHD, autism, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and challenges with communication or life skills. Using a trauma-informed lens, she incorporates CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
