Judy Hayek, MD

About us

Dr. Judy Hayek, MD is a dedicated physician specializing in Gynecologic Oncology at NewYork- Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She recently completed her fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She earned her medical degree Cum Laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Dr. Hayek is deeply committed to advancing women's health and addressing healthcare disparities, as reflected in her active participation in national workshops, academic lectures, and community seminars. She has held multiple leadership roles, including Administrative Chief Resident and Resident Research Coordinator, and has passionately mentored medical students and residents across several New York institutions.

Her research contributions span topics such as minimally invasive surgery, cancer recurrence, and genetic counseling in diverse populations. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and had multiple presentations at prestigious conferences including the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She is also an active member of several professional societies, including the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Fluent in Arabic and with working proficiency in Spanish and French, Dr. Hayek brings a global perspective to patient care and education. She is dedicated to connecting with diverse communities and bridging any gaps in care. She is also eager to practice through a wholistic approach that values not only physical health, but also mental, social and familial well-being. She is committed to creating meaningful connections with her patients, understanding their unique life circumstances, and integrating these perspectives into comprehensive, compassionate care.
