About us
Julie is originally from Lima, Peru, but has lived all over the world. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Julie earned a degree in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University and worked as a Crisis Counselor in a pediatric psychiatric unit. She later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse in pediatric step-down cardiac critical care, neurology and medical/surgical units. Julie also worked in adult cardiac and respiratory units.
After several medical missionary trips to Haiti, Julie realized that becoming a Nurse Practitioner would allow her to provide more expertise and assistance locally and during her medical missions.
