I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Northern Illinois University. During my dietetic internship, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospital, outpatient, community, public schools, and food service. I have experience working with all age groups and a number of different conditions.
As a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT), I have been trained to work with Mediator Release Testing (MRT) to identify food sensitivities. The MRT results are then used to create a customized elimination diet called LEAP (Lifestyle Eating and Performance). Each person receives a unique elimination diet plan that is tailored to his/her individual results. By using this customized approach, most people are successful and experience reduced inflammation.
I am passionate about helping others achieve wellness and improved health. By taking an integrative and functional approach, I focus on the “whole person” to get to the root of the problem.
In my free time, I can be found working in my garden, trying new recipes, hiking with my dog, and spending time with family
