About us
Dr. Elavunkal is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine. She received her bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University. Dr. Elavunkal earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where she completed her emergency medicine residency and a fellowship in emergency ultrasound. She previously served as Co-Director of Emergency Ultrasound in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.
