Dr. Karen Vanoy is a primary care optometrist at EyeCare Associates in Homewood, AL. With 16 years of experience as an optician in her grandmother's optical shop, she earned her BS in Biology from the University of Mobile and her Doctor of Optometry from UAB School of Optometry in 1997. Dr. Vanoy specializes in comprehensive eye care, including cataracts, glaucoma, and pediatric vision. She is active in the Alabama Optometric Association and advocates for scope expansion in optometry.
