Karen is a native Floridian with over 20 years of experience in psychiatry. She has a collaborative approach to mental health, working closely with patients to identify their unique strengths and foster hope for the future. Combining mental health expertise with a personal fitness background, Karen emphasizes the benefits of light to moderate exercise and a whole foods diet in enhancing mental well-being. She was inspired to become a nurse after reading a medical textbook cover to cover and found a passion for psychiatry during nursing school. Karen believes in the power of hope and enjoys reading the Bible, spending time with family, and weightlifting.
