About us
Hi! My name is Kathleen (Katie), and I'm a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I'm a native of New Orleans, but have lived in the Nashville area since 2009. Mental health has always been a passion of mine, even before I became a nurse. My nursing experience includes 6 years in the emergency department, where I saw a lot of people struggling with emotional issues. My most eye-opening experience was working in Manhattan during Covid. I saw first-hand how emotionally devastated people were, and how badly mental health services were needed to deal with the emotional fallout.
While I treat all psychiatric disorders, my true passion is depression. I know how debilitating it can be, especially when first diagnosed.
