About us
Dr. Kathryn Hamm, OD, grew up in Kansas City and earned a degree in Physical Science with minors in physics and biology from Kansas State University. She attended UMSL College of Optometry, graduating in 2019. While there, she held leadership roles, conducted visual perceptual research, and received awards for pediatric optometry and student leadership. An advocate for patients and optometry, Dr. Hamm won the 2022 Industry Influencer Theia award from Women in Optometry. She actively contributes through publications, podcasts, and professional advocacy.
