Dr. Chavez became an eye doctor because she saw firsthand how eye disease affected the functionality and quality of life of a family member. She believes patients need to be aware of their eye health so they can make the best decision for their health and wellbeing. In her time away from work, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and learning about other cultures.
