Dr. Katia Franco Quaresma de Moura is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Supervisor Coordinator II practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University and holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University. Dr. Quaresma de Moura is active in the American Urogynecology Society, the North American Menopause Society, the American Nurses Association, and the Omega Delta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her professional interests focus on women’s health, urogynecology, menopause management, and preventive care. She has an interest in endocrine gynecology, pelvic floor disorders, and improving patient education to enhance health outcomes. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is skilled in performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Dr. Quaresma de Moura is committed to patient education and preventive care, and empowering individuals to make informed health decisions.
