About Dr. Keith Schmidt
Keith Schmidt, MD, is an interventional spine and pain management physician at Ascension Comprehensive Pain Management in Hoffman Estates and Carol Stream, Illinois. He takes a multidisciplinary approach to helping his patients find pain relief, often incorporating psychology, pharmacology, and physical therapy into their treatment plans.
Dr. Schmidt earned his doctorate of medicine degree (2009) and completed his residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. During his Anesthesia residency (2010-14), he won the Resident of the Year award each year of residency, then was elected the Chief Resident, and won the coveted Robert D.
