About us
Kenosha Emerging Leaders Academy (KELA) is a pioneering initiative dedicated to equipping students and young adults in Kenosha, WI, with the necessary skills and resources for successful college and career pathways.
KELA is a collaborative effort between the City of Kenosha and local partners specializing in youth development, education, technology, career development, and workforce preparation.
KELA's mission is to create a pipeline of local talent to area colleges and future employers, serving as a pivotal component in the strategy to revitalize Kenosha's older neighborhoods.
