About us
Kevin McGill, M.D., FACS, FASMBS, graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Georgetown University. He earned a medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, D.C. and completed a general surgery internship at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. McGill completed his general surgery residency at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, Illinois and his fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery from Columbia University at St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. McGill worked as a general and Bariatric surgeon at Buckhead Surgical Associates, and was involved in bringing Bariatric surgical services to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Dr. McGill is Director of Bariatric Surgery at Piedmon tAtlanta Hospital, Member of Credentials Committee at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, and an active member of multiple surgical societies: American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and American Hernia Society. In his spare time, Dr. McGill enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His personal hobbies include general aviation and leading an active lifestyle.Attend my online seminar
