We had royalty in the house this week! Miss Louisiana Tech University, Hannah Brotherton, stopped by to visit with her team of Good Neighbors at our Ruston office! Hannah is the epitome of professionalism and grace, exemplifying hard-work and determination. We are so proud of all that she’s accomplished representing Louisiana Tech University so well!

We have another Kim Dupree State Farm February Female Athlete of the Month! We have added Cheer as a category! We are proud to announce our first Cheer athlete is Sophia Roberson! Here is what Coach McDonald had to say about her! The Ruston Cheer team took 4th place at Nationals! What a great year! “Sophia is a four year member of Ruston High Cheer and also a four year member of Ruston Competition Cheer. During her time on Ruston Cheer she is a 4 time All American and has been a constant leader on the team. Along with cheer, Sophia is also a four year member of the Ruston Track and Field Team and is a member of the Talented Art program at Ruston High as well.” Congratulations Sophia on your leadership on the Cheer team as well as track and Art!! We look forward to what your future holds!

Congratulations to our May male Kim Dupree State Farm Athlete of the month, Aidan Anding, for Indoor Track and Field! Below is what Coach Smith had to say about him! “It’s a great honor today to recognize one of our standout student-athletes, Aidan Anding, who has been named the May Kim Dupree State Farm Athlete of the Month for Indoor Track and Field. Aidan has had an incredible season, showing grit, versatility, and a team-first mindset in everything he does. He earned second place in the highly competitive 5A long jump with an outstanding leap of 23 feet, 1.25 inches—an achievement that speaks to his power and technical discipline. But Aidan didn’t stop there. He was also a crucial part of our 4x200 meter relay team that took second place, and the 4x400 meter relay squad that earned third. Whether he’s flying solo on the runway or pushing the pace on the track with his teammates, Aidan brings the same relentless energy and commitment to excellence. What sets Aidan apart isn’t just his talent—it’s his work ethic, his leadership, and the way he elevates everyone around him. He’s a competitor, a teammate, and a role model for what it means to represent this program with pride. Congratulations, Aidan. Our female Kim Dupree State Farm May Athlete of the month for Indoor Track and Field is T’Avion Clark! Here is what Coach Smith had to say about her! “Today, I’m proud to recognize T’Avion Clark as our May Kim Dupree State Farm Athlete of the Month for Indoor Track and Field—a title she’s earned through hard work, heart, and consistency. T’Avion delivered a phenomenal performance at the 5A state meet, placing fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.34 seconds. That race takes not only speed but mental toughness, and she showed both every step of the way. She also clocked an indoor personal best of 7.90 seconds in the 60-meter dash—proof of her growth and versatility as a sprinter. In addition to her individual accomplishments, T’Avion was a key part of our 4x400-meter relay team, helping them earn a spot at state—a testament to her strength as both a competitor and a teammate. T’Avion brings focus and resilience to every practice and every race. She leads by example and pushes herself and those around her to be better. We’re incredibly proud of all she’s achieved and can’t wait to see what’s next. Congratulations, T’Avion—you’ve earned this.” What great accomplishments! Such a great year!
