About us
Kim Pekin is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife practicing at Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht of Advantia. She holds a Master of Science in Midwifery, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Certificate from the National Midwifery Institute. Kim is passionate about helping people have personalized birth experiences. Her two decades of experience includes ownership of two CABC-accredited freestanding birth centers in Virginia. Her full-scope midwifery care includes prenatal and postpartum care, labor and delivery support, well-woman exams, birth control, mental wellness, and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), perimenopause-related concerns, urinary tract infections and PCOS. Kim is accepting new patients.
