About us
Kinetic Kids provides Pediatric Physical, Occupational, and Speech Rehabilitative services to fulfill the needs of children in Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Cleveland Counties with the best pediatric developmental care. "We will make every effort to implement the most effective treatment plan to ensure that your child reaches his/her goals as quickly as possible. From initial evaluation to successful discharge, your child is in well-trained, compassionate hands." It is important, as the caregiver, to follow the recommended treatment to make certain your child reaches his/her potential. Incorporated in 2009, Kinetic Kids was founded by Tiffani S. Bacon, PT, MPT who serves as its President and Chief Therapist. Ms. Bacon received an undergraduate degree from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech and a Master of Physical Therapy from Elon University. After receiving a North Carolina license, she worked as a therapist at several local healthcare providers ranging in out-patient, in-patient, and home health care. She has experience in orthopedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation, ranging from the pediatric to geriatric populations. With passion for children and youth, Ms. Bacon has specialized in pediatric therapy most of her professional career. She is the 2010 recipient of the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association Excellence in Clinical Practice Award, an avid aid relief missionary for the country of Haiti, a registered American Hippotherapy Association Level I Therapist, a Level I SpiderTech Kinesiology Taping Provider, and holds the following certifications: - Practical Treatment of Torticollis - Myofascial Release I - Pediatric Myofascial Release - Pilates on the Ball - Sensory Integration for Early Intervention - Neurorehabilitation in Acute Care - Manual Physical Therapy Examination & Treatment of Lower Quarter of the Aging Adult with - Emphasis on Spinal Stenosis & Osteoartritis Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy is also offered. We are in network with all insurances listed. To get started with therapy services, you will first need a prescription from your child's physician. You will then need to provide us important information about your child prior to your first evaluation with a therapist.
