Kingdom Ridge Capital manager Nick Caputo works as anequity analyst who is responsible for performing fundamental analysis of stocks that deal with consumer technology.Mr. Caputo started his career by studying Finance in college. He attended Boston Collegewhere he graduated Magna Cum Laude in the class of 2000.While at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, he helped found a student-run investment companycalled Eagle Alliance, LLC.Eagle Alliancetried to make money by picking stocks they though would appreciate in value. This experience helped steer him toward a career focused on the stock market.

Several years before joining Kingdom Ridge Capital,Nick Caputo worked at Goldman Sachs.He was intimately involved in analyzing technology stocks and helping Goldman’s institutional clients understand what companies they should invest in as well as avoid. After three years at Goldman Sachs, Caputo moved to the buy side which is another name for institutional investors that invest money in stocks.He has stayed on the buy side ever since leaving Goldman.In 2007, he was looking for a new opportunity.

Kingdom Ridge Capital brought Nick Caputo onboard in 2008 to help get the firm off the ground.Kingdom Ridge Capital would be focused oninvesting in companies in the technology industry, a sector that Caputo is very familiar with. Kingdom Ridge’s founders had been scouting Nick for a while and were excited when he chose to join the firm.Since joining, Nick has primarily covered consumer technology stocks which is the most rapidly changing area in tech.Nick enjoys this constant change.He also is very happy that he has been able to realize his dream of having a stock picking career.
