About us
Kurt Barringhaus, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical associate professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University and completed his internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.
Dr. Barringhaus completed cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a published expert in high-risk conditions including myocardial infarction, complex coronary intervention and management of coronary heart disease.
