About us
L Makeup Institute is a leading makeup artistry and special effects makeup school. Founded in 2010 by professional makeup artist Lissette Waugh, L Makeup Institute has campuses in Las Vegas and Dallas-Fort Worth. Unlike cosmetology schools, LMI offers hands-on programs focused entirely on makeup artistry. Students train in beauty makeup, on-set hairstyling, body
painting, airbrush makeup, character design, and special effects (FX) makeup.
Whether mastering the delicacy of beauty makeup, the bold artistry of airbrush and body painting, or the intricacies of prosthetics, LMI is dedicated to shaping the next generation of professional makeup artists. Accredited by ACCSC. Financial Aid available for those who qualify.
