Our center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT). This evidence-based service includes the closely supervised use of certain prescription medications along with counseling to help adults achieve long-term recovery from opioid addiction. When MAT first began to be used in methadone clinics in the U.S., methadone was the only medication patients could receive.
