Lakin McSorley, LPC

Lakin Weakland McSorley, LPC, is a behavioral health therapist with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in child and adolescent school-based mental health. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, depression, stress, anxiety, and mood disorders. She also focuses on school-based therapy and LGBTQ+ friendly care as well as dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies that are solution-focused and patient-centered. She is skilled in using art therapy and creative processes to help patients and families.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy and her Master of Arts in Art Therapy Specializing in Counseling from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Lakin is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is a client-centered therapist and focuses on the patient’s interests, incorporating art and art therapy if the patient is open to creative methods. She sees patients ages 5 to 18.
