I believe that the practice of medicine is ministry. It is a deep connection between patients and their healthcare provider. I strive to practice excellent medicine while focusing on the individual needs and concerns of patients. As a nurse practitioner I am focused on wellness, shared decision making, and the health of the community as a whole.
Before leaving a career in emergency medicine, I began writing and speaking about clinician burnout.
