Education
I earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from University of Texas at San Antonio, a Master of Arts (MA) in Community Counseling and a Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University in Dallas, Texas.

Experience
I have been in practice since 2010 and have worked with clients of all ages. I have provided counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. I have counseled clients through both minor and major life stressors and have helped those who are dealing with major mental health diagnoses.

I have counseled victims of violence and abuse to help them become survivors and cope with painful memories. I have helped parents and children build and develop better relationships. I have counseled clients to help them manage symptoms of major psychiatric issues. I have helped clients change self-destructive patterns of dysfunction and help them repair relationships.

Approach to treatment
I help clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with a holistic approach to wellness, using variety of counseling techniques. I approach counseling from a wellness, holistic perspective, considering the whole person and how your mental and emotional health impact your physical and spiritual health and vice versa. I see my clients as capable experts of their own lives, and I am there to guide, educate, inform, support, and encourage. I provide a supportive, collaborative, empowering environment, where I can give a new perspective or a different way of looking at a situation that can help clients feel better about themselves and their lives.

Hobbies/interests
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising
