About us
Lauren Hammer is a licensed and certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has enjoyed a diverse career providing care and education for women of all ages and stages of life. She is also certified in inpatient obstetrics and has assisted and empowered women during labor and birth for over 29 years. During this time, she has been a recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award, Divisional Nurse of the Year and Patient Satisfaction Recognition Award. She has taught childbirth education courses, is a member of the Normal Labor Task Force and has a special interest in reducing the cesarean rate for first time mothers-to-be. Lauren has been a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses for most of her career.
