1.Bankruptcy

There are two main types of bankruptcy for individuals: Chapter 7 bankruptcy and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Chapter 7 is commonly referred to as “liquidation” bankruptcy because you can cancel many (or all) your debts and not pay back your creditors. In contrast, Chapter 13 is sometimes called “reorganization” bankruptcy since you can overcome your debt through a repayment plan and protect valuable property.

2.Foreclosure

It was written to protect consumers from abusive debt collection actions and to promote fair debt collection which includes protection against deceptive credit practices; and, to provide the means for debtors to dispute debt and obtain accurate information to validate debt.
