About us

Dr. Carrasco earned his medical degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary sub-specialty at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. He continued his education in Critical Care Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center - The University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York and further completed his training in Sleep Medicine at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Carrasco specializes in chronic lung disease such as Asthma and has a special interest in Sleep disorders. Prior to joining Piedmont Pulmonary/Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Fayette, Dr. Carrasco worked providing Pulmonary and Critical Care services at Norwalk Hospital and Montefiore Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Carrasco enjoys spending time with family, sports and traveling. Dr. Carrasco is fluent in Spanish. He is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
