About us
Linda Wu, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Wu earned her MD degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She then completed fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. As a medical oncologist, she specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, with particular focus on pancreatic and hepatobiliary cancers.
Dr. Wu is actively involved in research to improve treatments for cancer. She is involved in developing and leading clinical trials, including multicenter investigator-initiated trials, to investigate novel therapeutic strategies for pancreatic and biliary cancers as well as other gastrointestinal malignancies. Her research interests also include discovering biomarkers predictive of response and resistance to therapy and understanding the tumor microenvironment to improve the effectiveness of immunotherapy for gastrointestinal malignancies, and she has published multiple articles in these areas.
Dr. Wu works closely as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care at the highest levels, utilizing a personalized approach to offer cutting-edge therapies.
