About us

Lindsay Cheu, M.D. (she/her), is an obstetrician-gynecologist with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Dr. Cheu delivers babies and operates at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. She has trained in diverse practice settings at Northwestern University in Chicago for medical school and the University of Washington for residency, in which she practiced in seven different hospital systems including a rural site and Seattle’s level 1 trauma center. She brings this broad expertise to her practice here in Maryland and values listening to each patient’s unique story.

From annual visits to delivering babies and operating, Dr. Cheu enjoys that each day is different as a Gyn/Ob. She recognizes that people seeking obstetric and gynecologic care can feel vulnerable and sees it as a privilege to partner with her patients in building a care plan together. She is skilled in open- and minimally-invasive surgical approaches, including robotic.

Dr. Cheu ran cross-country and track in college for Johns Hopkins University (#GoHop!), but is most proud of racing with her mother to win the mother-daughter category, for multiple years, in her hometown Turkey Trot. Growing up in Upstate New York, she enjoys hiking with her family and loves trying out new bakeries on the drives back from the trailheads.
