Lindsey Atwood, MD, provides care with Springfield Clinic’s Primary Care team. She sees patients at Springfield Clinic Main Campus West.Dr. Atwood earned her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. She completed her residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind."For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a doctor," Dr. Atwood says. "When I was young, I loved watching the television drama ER with my mom, Mary Atwood, who is a nurse practitioner with Springfield Clinic, and thought their jobs looked really fun." "I love being an internal medicine and pediatrics physician because I get to walk with my patients throughout their life journey," Dr. Atwood says.
