About us

A physician assistant with more than 20 years of patient care experience, Lisa Marcinko works in the Beacham Center for Geriatric Medicine. She offers outpatient primary care to patients 65 years and older.

Lisa considers leaning in, listening and patient education to be cornerstones of a successful visit. She is focused on helping her patients achieve their goals for their care and quality of life, which can include reviewing patients’ medication for interactions or deprescribing medications.

She began her career at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in 2011, working with the Department of Surgery before transitioning to the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology in 2016. Lisa’s surgical experience allows her to conduct minor procedures in clinic, such as incisions and drainage, as well as wound care and laceration repair. She also brings a unique perspective when discussing potential surgical consultations and pre- and post-operative concerns.
