Dr. Faia is a board certified ophthalmologist with special interest and expertise in the surgical and medical management of uveitis, as well as vitreoretinal diseases, such as diabetes, macular degeneration, and vein occlusions. Currently, she is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pan-American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, American Uveitis Society, American Medical Association, Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and Association in Research of Vision and Ophthalmology.
