Philosophy: Lisa Franz is a genuine, compassionate therapist whose purpose is to help clients change their lives. Lisa helps her clients achieve change by discovering forgiveness, acceptance and the power of loving oneself. She emphasizes individual and collaborative approaches in order to challenge her clients, help them understand their obstacles and set achievable goals. This empowers her clients to change by believing in themselves and focusing on their strengths. The intended result is to give the client the opportunity to set the pace of their healing and rediscover their hope.

Education and Experience: Lisa earned a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University. She graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. In addition to her extensive education Lisa also has 16 years of experience as a substance abuse counselor working with multiply diagnosed clients from various backgrounds.
