I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that enjoys working with a wide range of individuals in promoting their independence, decision making, and enhancing their quality of life. I strive to empower and support every client in his/her own unique journey through life. During your counseling experience, we will examine environmental factors that influence what may be impacting your life, assist you in pinpointing significant areas in life you want to change, and actively work to create interventions to modify those areas and see improvements.

My counseling approach is Applied Behavior Analysis; I believe that every individual can build skills, create opportunities, and improve his/her quality of life. Nobody gets through life alone and support, compassion, and openness is essential to empowering individuals into being successful within their own life journey. I believe there is no such thing as a “fits all” philosophy in counseling and every individual has his/her own unique experiences and his/her own personalized interventions are always necessary; therefore, I use a variety of mediums in counseling sessions such as music, art, and clay, and explore the various interests of an individual to express him/herself. My role in your counseling experience is to empower you to choose the best path for you, support you in creating interventions to create change, and for us to work together to move you towards your goals.

Some of my passions in life include the love of music; I played several instruments throughout my childhood and currently enjoy playing the violin during my leisure time. Often times, I find that music created through instruments can be more expressive and beautiful than any sung lyric. I also enjoy creating various food dishes and baking. I find new recipes of foods that I love and recreate them adding 1 or 2 of my choice ingredients to make it my own. I love experiences whether a new dining experience, sports event experience, or learning experience. I consider myself a lifelong learner and believe that with each new life experience there is an opportunity to grow as a person.
