About us
Lisa M. Young, MD, is board certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine. Dr. Young is a hospitalist-a doctor who specializes in caring for patients in hospitals. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. Dr. Young completed her internship and residency training in family medicine at Long Beach (Calif.) Memorial Medical Center. She also completed a geriatric medicine fellowship at the UC Irvine Medical Center. She believes in listeni the first in her family to become a physician and has inspired a niece to pursue a career in medicine. When she's not practicing medicine, Dr. Young enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
