I chose a career in healthcare because I want to positively impact others. I want to help people and assure them their needs are my number one focus. I believe patients need to be heard and expect a clear explanation about their condition and plan of care. It is most rewarding for me to be in this intimate role with patients and to ease their fears by showing them care, compassion, and concern. I started my advanced practice journey in emergency medicine and urgent care.

Although I love acute care, I decided to land in primary care because it allows me to develop a close relationship with my patients and their families while still being able to see all ages and a variety of disease. I have a special interest in dermatology and have completed a post masters certificate program to gain more knowledge in this specialty. I want patients to feel comfortable and reassured about why they are seeking healthcare and that their care is handled by a dedicated team that will work hard to advocate and communicate on their behalf. Exceptional care does not come from one person alone and I absolutely love being available to patients when they need help the most.
