When I got my deer back from Litchfield Locker I was upset and disapointed. It was packed in a box and the packages had leaked trough with blood and were frozen together. Included in the box were two 10 lb garbage bags of cut up meat. When I returned to complain, the owner did the right thing an refunded my money without an agument. We agreed that the meat in the bags was a misunderstanding because I had mentioned that I like to make my own sausage. He thought I would be making sausage right away with the scrap. When I thawed out the meat to re-wrap the bloody packages, I saw that the meat, the entire deer, in fact, had been buchered with a bone saw. The packages were labled Stew, Chop and Steak. The meat on the steak and chop was covered in bone paste from the saw and there was hair stuck to the meat. Some of it had parts of shoulder blade in it. Even the stew meat had bone parts in it. It was disgusting and I had to throw out the entire dear. Do yourself a favor and...

i have advice for all of litchfeild county if you want your meat processed do not go here. i thought under new ownership that i would give the new guys a chance but no, the new owners keep your meat to and are worse than the last ones they do not even give you an excuse why your meat is missing i am totally disapointed with them, animal feed is not cheap , and you should get the service you pay for. the new owners should stick to what they know, meat is not it!!!!!!
