When my wife and I were looking for a daycare to place our young son, we found ourselves at something of an impasse, due to part to our experiences. She grew up in a home daycare ran by her grandmother, and appreciated the relationships her grandmother developed with the children that were truly loving. I attended a traditional facility based program that was more classroom-based and therefore better equipped in some ways, but far less personal. Most of the places we visited in Delaware fell firmly into one of these two categories.

When we found Little Stars, it quickly felt like home. Ginny Cahill, the director, answered all of our questions with knowledge, experience, and care. Her mother is the director at the other location, located off Kirkwood Highway, and prior to that ran a home daycare for many years.
