Our caregivers are bonded and insured certified nursing assistants (CNAs) or trained in-home aides (IHAs) employed by Living Well Family Care. Our training and supervision practices exceed state requirements. All employees are required to take a skills assessment test and attend in-service training and education, where necessary. All caregivers are certified in first aid and CPR and receive training in blood borne pathogens, universal precautions and caregiver support, a program unique to Living Well Family Care. Many of our caregivers also have additional training in Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. Our employees’ care practices are monitored through routine and random home visits by a registered nurse.
