About us
We produce unique, award-winning wines grown on our Estate Vineyards in Fredericksburg, Hye, and Pontotoc, Texas, and vinted right here in the Texas Hill Country. Each of our vineyard sites has unique soil and other terroir-specific characteristics that make the wines unique expressions of the Texas Hill Country AVA. Longhorn Cellars brings you superior, hand-crafted wines with the hallmarks of genuine Texan hospitality – big, bold, proud, and the very best. Our wines are handcrafted in small lots by our co-owner and winemaker Dr. Michael Dickey in consultation with award-winning winemaker Alana Martinez. Some of our favorite wines include Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, Alarino, Riesling, Moscato, Mourvedre, Malbec, Merlot, and Tannat.
