Studio City, CA 5/23/2011 A month or so ago, my toilet went berserk and decided it would flood not only my bathroom floor but the adjoining bedroom AND hallway floors. (I know, it's weird, but there are two doors to my bathroom -- one leading to the hall and one leading to my bedroom.) In a panic, I called a plumber and a carpet cleaner stat. I found my own plumber and my BF helped me to find a carpet cleaner. I called the carpet cleaner he'd recommended numerous times but they did not answer so I did more searching and came upon Los Angeles Carpet Cleaning Experts. Since they had great reviews, I figured why not give them a call. Moshe, the owner, came immediately even though it was 3 p.m. on a Saturday. He came ready and prepared to tackle this monster. While the plumber, Freddy, worked simultaneously on the toilet, Moshe went to work with his high-power machines after describing what he would be doing. Within two hours, he was done. He left two of his crazy powerful fans with me overnight so my carpet would dry, no charge, and he told me he'd pick them up the next day. Overall, Moshe was really personable and easy to talk to. He's the same age as I am so it was easy to relate to him (especially because he has the same back condition as I do). But you won't be able to tell he has a chronic back problem because he's a hard worker who toils and toils until he gets the job done precisely. I really appreciate that about him. So why the four stars? I guess for me, after everything was done and over with, I realized it was a tad bit pricey. I won't mention the price on this page out of consideration for his business but I asked around and some people told me it was a little costly. I still don't regret using him, though, because it was last minute and he did give me a lot of extras. Another reason for the four stars is because he kept reminding me to write a review for him. Now, given he and I got pretty friendly those two days, I can see why it'd be important for him (and his business) to get a review from me. I mean, his Yelp page isn't as cluttered with rave reviews as his yahoo page is. I had started writing this review and had fully intended on posting it when I finished. However, I got extremely busy taking care of business myself (and working on getting my back better), and I guess I just didn't want to be reminded constantly. In the end, these reasons don't take away from the fact that Moshe is a great person who does a great job. Maybe those other companies might be cheaper but they won't do as thorough of a job as Moshe would.
