Hello, I'm Carol, and I'm the founder of Solas Psychiatry. The name of my practice is a nod to the Gaelic word for light and comfort, symbolizing the hope and solace I strive to provide. Solas is primarily a Telehealth Practice, but I offer "In Person" visits one Friday a month.
With over 19 years of healthcare experience, I am a dual-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. My journey began on a remote Scottish island, where I learned to appreciate the resilience required to navigate life's literal and metaphorical winters. It was this foundation that inspired me to found Solas Psychiatry with the mission of providing compassionate and evidence-based care.
