About us
Maia Stamieszkin is a family nurse practitioner at the University of Vermont Medical. She specializes in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), GERD, Celiac disease and Functional GI Disorders.
Maia believes that being a nurse practitioner allows her to be on the forefront of delivering quality care. She enjoys working directly with patients to help them achieve their best possible health outcomes while positively impacting the way that care is delivered. She values creating a working relationship with her patients that is founded on compassion and transparency. It is important to her that every patient feels as though she took the time to answer all of their questions and address their unique concerns.
