About us

Manoj Maddali, MD, MS, is a board-certified pulmonologist specializing in interstitial lung disease (ILD). He completed his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University, residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Stanford University, where he pursued advanced training in ILD. He also holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford. Before joining Piedmont, Dr. Maddali was in practice at Stanford Healthcare. He is board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, internal medicine, and clinical informatics. He is an active member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Medical Informatics Association. Dr. Maddali’s research focuses on precision medicine in lung diseases, biomedical big data, and clinical decision support. His work has been published in leading journals including Lancet Respiratory Medicine and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby, aviation, backpacking, and reading. Dr. Maddali is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
