About us
Dr. Maria Pimentel is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her special areas of interest include laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and twin pregnancies.
Dr. Pimentel completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in 1996 and her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University in 2003. Dr. Pimentel completed her intern year at Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2004 and then completed her residency training at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY in 2007.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, shopping, and dancing. She is fluent in Spanish.
