With a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley, Maria Tenaglia began her career designing retail and restaurant space both nationally and internationally. She was a Senior Designer for a large retail design firm in New York, London and Los Angeles and then a senior designer for Pat Kuleto Restaurants. She launched her own firm 15 years ago, offering complete interior design services concentrating on highend residential projects.

From traditional to cutting-edge, every MTD project unifies a sum of countless and carefully edited details. Maria creates spaces that are as unique as her clients and is comfortable working in any design aesthetic. She is a design chameleon at heart enabling her to never tire of the process. She is constantly learning and evolving which brings fresh and unexpectedly modern elements to her more traditional work and a sense of classic proportion and bespoke craftsmanship to her contemporary work. Her vast experience coupled with this creative dexterity allows her to create dynamic and memorable spaces each with their own visual rhythm that engages the user.
