About us
Marilyn A. Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and CAADC from Port Huron, Michigan. Marilyn graduated from Oakland University with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling in 2005. Marilyn has worked in various settings as an LPC and CAADC, substance abuse rehab, outpatient and day treatment/night watch. She has a passion for helping people with various life challenges (trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship issues) gain hope and establish stability to improve functioning and productivity. Marilyn incorporates various evidence-based therapeutic approaches into her practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (Ml).
