About us
I was born in New Jersey, right here at Clara Maass Hospital! I have lived here most of my life. My family is from Goa, India, (a former state of the Portuguese Empire) which is why my last name is Portuguese. I am only fluent in English, but am currently trying to improve my Spanish language skills to communicate more with patients. I decided to go into medicine because I found science fascinating growing up and I wanted to make a difference. I love working with little children and found my calling in pediatrics. At Sanitas, every day is a good day because get to work with children.
