About us
Marissa Awwad, FNP, is a certified family medicine nurse practitioner who treats patients of all ages, from newborns to adults. She provides preventative care, performing routine physicals for all ages, including pediatric and well-woman exams. Marissa treats asthma, COPD, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, peripheral vascular disease, diabetes, anxiety, and depression. After a long career in emergency medicine, Marissa transitioned to private practice, where she cares for patients with a collaborative and holistic approach. She works closely with patients to create treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and lifestyles. This practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri.
